Where are the aliens?

According to the Dark Equation,there is a high probabilty that intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations exist.But we don't have any record proof or contact .This contradicition is called the Fermi Paradox.Some scientists have attempted to answer this by arguing that it would be too difficult and too time-consuming for aliens to contact us.Others suggest perhaps there is no evidence because aliens don't exist.
